Music for Young Children
Kindermusik summer camps are for children from birth through age 6. Each camp
includes exciting music, movement activities, stories, instrument exploration, crafts,
and snacks. Classes are taught by licensed Kindermusik educators. Come explore
with us!
Prerequisite: None
Ages: Birth to 6
Schedule: All classes are 75 minutes. Children and caretakers attend together. See
below for specific class times.
Please Note: Kindermusik classes are offered only in our Canal Winchester location.

Family Class: For families with children up to age 6; up to
three children with each caregiver. Take home materials
include a family activity book, home CD, and an instrument.
Offered on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
Wednesdays 1:30-2:45, June 16-July 21. 6 weeks of class for the price of 5! $125
for families with one child; $185 for two children; $230 for three children.
Saturdays 11:30-12:45, June 26-July 24. 5 weeks of class for the price of 4! $97 for
families with one child; $160 for two children; $200 for three children.
Toddler Class: Children ages 18 months to three years will climb aboard the Zoo Train
for music fun featuring all sorts of animals. Take home materials include home
activities poster, home CD, and instrument. Offered on Saturdays.
Saturdays 10-11:15, June 26-July 24. 5 week class for the price of 4! $97 per child.

Summer Programs 2009
| This summer, improve a skill that you already have or learn a new one. Make some new friends. Enjoy professional arts education close to home. Our summer programs are designed for students of all ages and levels to have a positive experience with music, dance and theater. Private lessons are also available during the summer, with flexibility for family vacations. Students taking private lessons for the summer will recieve a 10% discount on all summer group classes. Chamber Music
Spend the summer playing music with professional instructors and other interested musicians. Activities
include daily coaching sessions, independent group rehearsal time, master classes, group sessions to
discuss aspects of playing chamber music, and videos of professional chamber performances. Each
session will culminate in a performance. All instrumental students are welcome; groups will be determined
by ability, not instrument.
Prerequisite: Proficient note-reading ability. Either 6 months private lessons or one year of school
band/orchestra. Students will be required to attend a placement audition prior to the start of the session so
that chamber groups/repertoire may be determined.
Please note: Students (with exception of pianists) are responsible for providing their own
instruments and for maintaining them in good working condition.
Schedule: Choose a session in Canal Winchester or Lancaster.

Fees: $85 per session for music and tuition.

Love being on stage? Want to improve your skills and build your confidence? Or just want to learn how to be
comfortable performing in front of other people. Join our professional, creative teachers for singing, dancing,
and acting. Learn about famous musicals and watch video of great performers. Each camp will culminate in
a performance. Students should wear comfortable clothes and shoes to class. Students may participate in
more than one camp; end performance will be different for each session.
Prerequisite: None
Ages: 6-18 years (see schedule for specific age groups)

Camp will focus on basics of being on stage, vocal projection, working with others, singing and dancing for
stage. Tuition is $250 per session.
Ages 13-18 years choose June 8-19, 1 pm-5pm Monday-Friday or July 6-17, 1 pm-5 pm Monday-Friday.
Camp will focus on advanced aspects of stage productions, preparing for auditions, and how to stage/block
scenes and musical numbers. Tuition is $300 per session.

Ages 6-12 years July 20-31, 9 am-12 pm Monday-Friday. Camp will focus on basics of being on stage, vocal
projection, working with others, singing and dancing for stage. Tuition is $250 per session.
Ages 13-18 years July 20-31, 1 pm-5 pm Monday-Friday. Camp will focus on advanced aspects of stage
productions, preparing for auditions, and how to stage/block scenes and musical numbers. Tuition is $300
per session.
