Dance Classes
This summer, polish the dance skills that you already have or learn something new. Dance is offered either in week
long intensive classes or a six week, once weekly class. Students may opt to take more than one week of intensive
and/or take weekly classes. Please note: dance is currently offered only in Canal Winchester.

Week Long Intensive: June 29-July 3 OR August 10-14
Class rates: 1 hour classes: $95/week; 90 minute classes: $135/week; 2 hour classes: $175/week
Creative Movement for ages 3-5 meets 9:30-10:30 am. Learn to move to music and feel the beat.
Elementary Ballet for ages 6-10 meets 10:30-11:30 am. Students should have at least one year formal ballet training.
Intro to Ballet for ages 6-10 meets 11:30 am-12:30 pm. Students will be introduced to classical ballet techniques.
Intro to Ballet for ages 11-14 meets 1-2 pm. Students will be introduced to classical ballet techniques.
Junior Ballet for ages 11-14 meets 2-3:30 pm. Students must have at least 1-2 years formal ballet training. More
advanced ballet techniques will be introduced.
Intro to Ballet for ages 14-18 meets 3:30-4:30 pm. Students will be introduced to classical ballet techniques.
Senior Ballet for ages 14-18 meets 4:30-6:30 pm. Students must have at least 2 years formal ballet training. Advanced
techniques, including pointe, will be studied.
Modern Dance for ages 11-18 meets 7-8:30 pm. Students should have at least 2 years prior experience in some form
of dance.
Salsa Classes for ages 15-adult meets 8:30-9:30 pm. No prior dance experience necessary. Add some spice to your
life!

Music for Young Children
Kindermusik summer camps are for children from birth through age 6. Each camp
includes exciting music, movement activities, stories, instrument exploration, crafts, and
snacks. Classes are taught by licensed Kindermusik educators. Come explore with
us!

Guitar Heroes
Don’t just play the game; learn to be a real guitar hero during our week long day camps for beginning to
intermediate guitar players. Students will learn how to play solo and in a group, listen to professional
musicians, and learn how to read music. Each week will end with a concert. Camps are taught by
professional, experienced instructors.
Prerequisite: No prerequisite for beginner camp. Intermediate students must have had at least 6 months
private lessons or one year of playing experience. Students who have completed the beginner camp may join
the intermediate camp later in the summer.
Ages: Minimum age of 7 years old.
Please note: Students are responsible for providing their own instruments and for maintaining them in good
working condition.
Schedule:
Choose camps in Canal Winchester or Lancaster. Students are welcome to sign up for more than one
session if desired.

comfortable performing in front of other people. Join our professional, creative teachers for singing, dancing,
and acting. Learn about famous musicals and watch video of great performers. Each camp will culminate in
a performance. Students should wear comfortable clothes and shoes to class. Students may participate in
more than one camp; end performance will be different for each session.
Prerequisite: None
